Antiquing is a process of reacting metals with chemical agents to obtaining certain colour and texture over them, an effect which would otherwise take years of exposing them to the atmosphere. Antiquing makes an object look as if its hundreds of years old. It adds a great vintage look and high aesthetic value to any product or artefact.
This is an effect usually given to artefact and products made from copper and brass, can also be given to things made of black metal and silver.
